I’m very rough on my phones and work in healthcare, so I feel strongly about having the built-in screen protector that’s continuous with the case. I’ve used this and similar styles of Lifeproof cases for 7+ years and think they’re well worth the cost. I’ve never had a cracked screen or other damage to the phone, even after several drops onto pavement, routine cleaning with antibacterial wipes, and hours stowed away in sweaty pockets.My ONLY complaint is about the clear plastic that covers the camera lenses. I’ve had this case for 6 months and that plastic has gotten so scratched up that the photo quality is noticeably poor, creating fuzzy images with halos. They’re not big scratches or gouges, more like fine scratches from sitting against fabrics or being cleaned. I’m considering replacing my case sooner than other wear-and-tear warrants so that I can have crisp photos again – and would still get this type of case again because the rest of the protection is worth it. I think the case would otherwise withstand another 6+ months of abuse if the camera quality wasn’t a factor for me!
